Stay with the rollers,as long as they are free running and the side skids are barely contacting the hull you should have no problem
I've had 3 tinnies from 4.2m to 5.3m and all trailers had keel rollers without any issues

Yeah nah. The whole keel sitting flat on a carpeted bunk is going to stick like a ***** and you'll have a hard time getting it off without floating it. If you're set on ditching rollers then ditch the carpet for poly skids. But you still run the risk of damaging the weld along that keel depending on...
