Re: SURVEY OF FISHERS AND BOATERS GETS UNDERWAY

I think I heard somewhere that once a sample size gets over about 800 or so adding more participants doesn’t give you any more reliability as long as the sampling method gives you a random sample. Biggest issue is that online surveys are self selecting (i.e. not random) so you’re going to get a bias...

Re: Fishing rods of the Future!!

I get that companies are expected to keep bringing out new **** but I’m not sure what problem this really solves.

The new Hobie drive on the other hand is a seriously impressive piece of kit and even though I’ll never get one myself I can still appreciate the engineering that has gone into it.

If you do face book look up Geelong taxidermy he does a good job. My marlin was done by Scott Mann in batemans bay. Give them a ring they will give you a quote it all depends on weight and length.
So a bucket of toadies would be fairly cheap then? Wouldn't weigh much.

Re: Target One Million....is it working?

It would be good if we could see a running total somewhere of the number of participants or licence holders of the “one million”. There is no exact way to determine this I would think. Not all people fishing require a license. And I have heard a rumour that the rise in licenced fishos may not be th...

Re: Krakka Yakkaz first meet/comp

I need a kayak like that! Well done btw! 5 gummies in 4 hrs wow! Forum member Cheaterparts makes rod racks like those (I'm not sure if Brett's is one of his), I've used a couple that's he's made and can confirm they're pretty great. You're not allowed to send him a PM about getting anything made up...

Re: Kayak Advice

I've had a look around on some local online stores and found a couple models that look good, like the viking profish 400 and the profish 35, and the wilderness systems tarpon 140. Do you have any opinions on these? They're all a little above my budget, but I would be happy to spend more for extra q...

Wow this whole kayak fishing thing becomes too much of a rocket science to me ... I get more confused and in dilemma more than before.
Thanks for info thou guys.
Break it down into more manageable sections. It's not really that hard.
