Yak ok
Green Stick 1klm
Yellow Stick 2.3klm
Thanks!
Are they like straight out off the boat ramp?
Assuming being only 1-2km out, they'll be visible.
Weekend weather is looking good for yak fishing.
They're pretty easy to find, otherwise just fish where the boats are.

Probably the biggest issue I've noticed from the protests is that it's led to an attitude of "**** it, whatever" and people are ignoring any and all social distancing recommendations in shops etc.

With my kayak, I just get on my knees and lift the propeler. And there's the water hole to do the number one...

Re: Covid-19 discussion

I like that all the peanuts in politics and the media who were yelling from the rooftops that we needed to open everything up ASAP have gone quiet of late. Also seeing how the US fared when they tried to open everything up again while there was still a lot of spread according to the official numbers...

Re: Winter water entry/launch - methods and footwear

Drypants or a fitted set of neoprene waders with a belt to seal them. Do you mean the neoprene waders/boots commonly used in trout streams? Nah they look a bit different to those. I don't think they have boots, just a bit of rubber sewn to the sole to stop the neoprene wearing through so you can st...

Re: Covid-19 discussion

This is a long but quite interesting article outlining some of what we've learned so far about what the virus does. It doesn't discuss the kidneys which is a shame because that's one area a number of doctors have raised concerns about in relation to the virus. https://www.washingtonpost.com/health/2...
