Cheers guys. You'll see from that last photo the flathead almost got away! They're very quick.
I only see one or two legal flounder each trip and I'm moving slow and looking carefully. Never caught them on a hook either and I do try with SPs in the same areas I'm wading.

That white stick on the flathead, that's the spear prong? How did it break? Yep that's a metal spear prong snapped clean off the head, which is replaceable thankfully.
