Not known to me personally but great service and great knowledge of what’s going on around Welshpool & Port Albert.

We went to Port Albert a couple of days ago to brave the cool mornings. Got to the ramp at 7am and we had the place to ourselves. Went out and tried both 6 and 8 Mile on Monday. Very slow for us with no ‘eater’ keepers kept. The usual culprits came up to be released, Gurnard, Sergeant Bakers, Barber Perch. We kept a couple of slimeys for bait and headed in. A quick stop on the flats to see if an early KGW was about…but nope…no...

Water outside at 15°c, caught a 43cm KGW at 6 Mile. Now bobbing around near the Pines looking for a feed of flatties.
