Re: Morning Flathead session.
Some of the bigger flathead I have caught have been at dusk while whiting fishing, towards end of a whiting session I will put down half /full pilchard straight down n often catch big flathead.
Probably cause of burly they come in.

Hi wishtofish
Breakwall around 250m up - fish in between the weeds in the sandy areas.
I've caught up to 38cm in this area only 2 months ago on a visit

Re: Flathead spearing
Hey Irish, nice write up! sounds like you had fun mate.
I had a couple questions, when you're out spearing how deep do you typically wade and what time of day and tide do you find is the most conducive for a good session?
cheers

That’s a nice flounder mateIrishfisherman wrote: ↑Sun Jan 24, 2021 1:41 pmThanks guys, it’s probably one of my favourite ways to get a feed. Went out again the other night and did alright, managed a good sized flounder.
How do you usually like to cook your flounders?
Cheers

Re: Goulburn Trout Trip
Some nice trout there was the water high and fast?
Can be tricky to fish in that condition.
