Re: Corona Virus Part 3
Here in Orbost, about 50 or so k's further east from Lakes Entrance, it's a ghost town. Many shops were closed after the bushfires and now, even more are closed. I doubt many of them will ever re-open. The caravan park is deserted, the motels are empty, the pubs are shut. A large part of the popula...

Re: Corona Buddies
Good job. Ive been making a lot of soup lately and giving half to the inlaws. They are loving it, especially since i cant give them any fish at the moment.
Also, no need to cheat with Bechamel, the ratio for is easy to remember - 100g flour and 100g butter for every litre of milk.

Re: Guess the Species
This one is common in bass strait but unlikely you would catch it on a hook. It has some nasty little hooks on the side of its head and a poisonous skin. Makes good flathead bait as they seem to be able to eat them. Very slimy snotty skin. Trawl fishers hate them as they get hooked in the mesh and ...

Re: Land Based Pier Fishing Cart Setup
I really like the clip-on table suggestion Bugatti, it would be convenient to have surface. The one downside to my local pier is that it is very exposed to a southerly wind. With no land between us and Portsea/ the Heads, the wind travels which unfortunately means everything almost must be weighted ...
