Docklands Report
Headed up to docklands with a mate today from 3:45 (high tide) to 6:30 As soon as I dropped my bait in I was getting a few bites but no hook ups. Put some pro-cure scent on and instantly it started to get hammered, but no hook ups until about 20 minutes in, producing my first trevally. Kept getting ...

I know its a toadie, but it was massive and nothing like I had seen before. We were consistently catching toad...

Re: Lure scents
Pro-cure advertises it lasts up to 45 minutes but I usually go with 15-20 minutes. Scents also seem to work well on bait too.April Fool wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 7:43 pmFor those that do use scents, how often do you apply it too the lure (assuming you keep the same lure on for a while)?

Re: smelly hands
the glyco-protein (slime) and oils that fish and bait produce is obviously resistant to water so that it doesn't just wash off the fishes body. this is why no matter how much you wash your hands, it doesn't seem to come out and the smell sticks around. the best remedy for this is just getting a bait...

Re: Strike Tiger sp problems
Croe...what fish do you chase with the tiger plastics? Bug...alugs, sometimes I have trouble with Gulp in their own bags!!!! The older style packaging meant that some of the tails would kink and they would not straighten. Regardless of how sealed the bag is after opening, the fu**ers still leak. Th...

Re: Strike Tiger sp problems
Is it just other soft plastics brands the zman plastics have issues with? Are they good to be used as trailers on a spinnerbait or chatterbait, be stored for a few months and not melt the SP skirts? I'm not sure but i read a post on a different forum by a ZMan representative saying to not put them ...

Rainy session at Albert Park - report
Hi all Headed down to Albert Park lake for a quick session with the old man today from 3:15 till 5:00, chasing ep's, yellas and trout. Water level has risen a tad with the rain but weeds are still a bit hard to avoid. Water was pretty murky, couldn't see past about 10cm deep. Eager to try the new ha...

Re: Rainy session at Albert Park - report
Today was quiet because of the weather and the time of day, and there is a pretty big car park by MSAC but it fills up when people come to have a jog around the lake or play sport, especially when the weather is nice.

Re: I need advice for Albert Park trout
I would advise against using bait for AP trout. All the people i've spoken to never caught anything using bait, and I haven't either. Using bait also increases the likelihood of you gut hooking the fish which will probably kill them because trout, especially young ones, are very delicate fish. Since...
