Re: Targeting gars PPB

Croe, with the burley I keep it very simple mate.
I just buy a packet of homebrand bread crumbs and simply just mix it with water and that’s it. I use a small scooper to throw it out every now and again. Does the job for me everytime :)
Cheers

Inverloch/Venus Bay July 9-10

Hi guys. Just got back from inverloch and Venus bay. Went early yesterday morning and arrived at inverloch jetty at 7am. Pier looked a bit busier than I expected for winter and thought there must be fish around. I was right. Trevally madness! They pretty much fired from when I got there until 11ish....

You'd have more luck actually going to a taxidermy service and asking them for a quote based on rough estimates in size and weight. Bear in mind that fish are very hard to taxidermy because their colour fades and they dry out.

Re: How much it cost to taxidermy snapper?

The plan in my head : Step one : catch a big snapper, like a really big snapper worth mounting Step two : dont worry about step two and beyond, do step one first. Step three : focus on step one one first! Step four : back to step one first seriously. One must learn how to walk before running. Years ...
