Re: What’s Your Fishing Resume?

Born in Sunshine, grew up in the eastern suburbs and spent a lot of time in NE Victoria. My step grandad was a VPC delegate and lobbied for regulations to protect native fish. Dad and my uncle were keen anglers, chasing natives, trout and reddies, and dad was an honorary fishing inspector. My earlie...

Atomic Hardz bream shad mid diver. Gold is my fav colour. Many a trout caught on this bad boy! :-D
Don't think they make them anymore which is unfortunate
Not saying your stretching the truth, but, with no hooks you're relying on the trout suffocating

Re: Where to fish in walhalla

I looked on the vfa website and it days you can't take/possess any trout in certain areas. Which means you can fish but if you catch a trout, you have to put it back? Can anyone point out coopers creek on here aswell? You cannot catch or possess any trout in, on or next to any waterways in Victoria...

Re: Kayak Advice

What sort of fishing do you like doing?
Streams/rivers with lures ?
What sort of fish would you be looking to chase?
Sit on or sit in kayak?

Paddle or peddle? ( at that price stay away from
Cheap peddle kayaks)

Just some questions I asked my self before I bought my outback.

Re: Kayak Advice

You don’t have to buy a new one.
I bought a second hand 2015 model and things worked out real well for me.
The prices should have dropped even further now that they released the new model.
May be worth saving up for one.

Re: Kayak Advice

My budget is $700-$900 for a good, stable entry level kayak. Desired length is 12-14ft, preferably with a comfy seat and decent amounts of storage, on the lighter side would be nice and it needs to be rooftopable. Ive found this one online from freak sports, and i'd like a second opinion - https://...

Re: Snapper fishing may be banned for three years in SA

I think legal size should be upped in vic and bag limits looked at also. More people fishing, more fish caught, less fish in the water.
Quick maths.
