I looked on the vfa website and it days you can't take/possess any trout in certain areas. Which means you can fish but if you catch a trout, you have to put it back? Can anyone point out coopers creek on here aswell? You cannot catch or possess any trout in, on or next to any waterways in Victoria...

You don’t have to buy a new one.
I bought a second hand 2015 model and things worked out real well for me.
The prices should have dropped even further now that they released the new model.
May be worth saving up for one.

I think legal size should be upped in vic and bag limits looked at also. More people fishing, more fish caught, less fish in the water.
