Re: Landbased feed?
Hey all, Probably not worth a full report but had my afternoon fishing yesterday. Didn't have as long as I thought, my wife was only working for half the day and I had a half hour drive each way from Tarneit so all up I was on the water from around 2pm - 4pm. Hot and cloudy, pretty nasty wind had pi...

Donuts at Mt Martha
Hey all, Had my first go at Mt Martha this morning. Pulled myself out of bed before 6, made some coffee and got there shortly after sunrise. Rough! Weather was calm as anything though, no wind at all. I first parked up at the spot north of Hearn Road but it was super busy down there and I didn't lik...

Re: Eildon Trout
I wear waders but have only got up that way a couple of times, and have never caught a trout in Vic. So don't look at me for advice. Fishing some of the dams around the Grampians though made up my mind, full of snags and sharp branches. Much nicer to have your feet protected. I have used them succes...

Re: Corona virus part 2

Re: DIY Face Masks - COVID-19
Luckily I had some N95 / P2 masks left from the bushfire smoke we got earlier in the year. Hard to get hold off but I managed to find a few in Adelaide over Christmas.
Main thing is not to touch your face / adjust the mask too much if you are touching stuff in busy areas like trains.

Re: Corona virus part 2
Corona virus will pass in time just like previous virus'. What worries me is when other virus' come to be known in the future and the panic it will spread over the community. Every time we have a virus on the other side of the world people are going to start panic buying, markets will start dipping...

Re: Donuts at Mt Martha
Hey crew. Had another go on Saturday. Up before 6am and off to Mt Martha. Nice and quiet and isolated so no problem keeping my distance from anyone. Bit windier with a light southerly, and overcast so a little less pleasant than last time. Wife was with me, she lost a jig in the reef there somewhere...

Re: Donuts at Mt Martha
Unlucky. My mate went there Sat morning close to hearn rd, caught two and that's it. Said he saw few people and none catching. Yeah, it was a bit quieter than the long weekend but still a fair few people about. I was just down Hearn Road. Enjoyable morning anyway, makes the day feel like a long one...
