Back from a 3.5 hour session down at Brimbank, started at 5.30pm until 9.00pm We found a spot just before the wall/bridge, on the tiny jetty they have built. We started with scrubbies and corn on a float on one rod, and 2" grub jig head on the other that i was slowly retrieving. Changed to a spinner...

I just got back from an 2 session down keilor village. Got 3 small to medium redfin. X2 on plasic wriggle tail grubs (dragonfruit colour) and one on live worms. Got heaps of bites and lost 1 or 2 off the hook...it was really poping down there tonight...i even saw a few fish breach the surface throug...

Just got back from another session down in keilor.

Caught a fat 37cm Tench, and 2 small redfin on worms in an hour.

This little spot is proving to be pretty damn fun!

Nice tench. How big was the redfin?

Not huge, but not small. They put up a decent fight for such a small fish.
