Re: KGW Gippsland Lakes

They were on a mission to get caught this morning for sure, I had my first one after about 30 sec, I had not even had time to get my second line in, I bagged out in about 90 mins and left them biting.
Cheers

Zip it up while pushing as much air out as possible. Straight into the freezer. If you were going to keep them a long time vacuum pa...

So with all that in mind I thought it Fair enough to drop my wife off at work on Saturday & for that matter Sunday and head ...

Re: KGW Gippsland Lakes

Almost cut the grass yesterday... almost.... but made the mistake albeit late on in the day of looking at the Lakes Charter FB page and saw reports of KGW up to 47 cm. So an hour later around 2pm saw me facing the second "mistake' of the day launching rather haphazardly it must be said at Nungurner....

Re: KGW Gippsland Lakes

Geoffski. OK See pic But basically a longer lighter rod say 9ft min. Float is an old UK sourced item balsa body and stick type insert (easily home made though)buoyant enough to hold a 1cm sq piece of prawn -but not so buoyant that the fish feels too much resistance on the bite. Float is attached to ...

Re: McLoughlins Beach

It is said that a change is as good as a rest ( although Mrs P wouldn't necessarily agree with that one), so with that in mind I headed down to McLoughlin's yesterday for a threesome with the usual suspect (offsider) plus one...And just to be clear - 3 up in a boat that is!. Nice warm day in Paynesv...
