Re: Shimano Zodias 2020

The zodias is a great rod. I'd happily fish 20lb through it with 1/4oz jigheads on 4" plastics or for throwing fish traps. It's also got enough backbone to land the largest Jews that swim in our rivers provided you fight them properly. The revoltage is in another league. It's absolutely amazing. But...

Re: Shimano Zodias 2020

I bought a zodias 270m I believe it is. To replace a broken steez thunderstorm. It's a nice rod and have caught a few pinkies on it. Looking forward to using it on an upcoming jew trip. Re: Shimano Zodias 2020

The older model is on sale at tackleworld for Round 175 odd bucks. Great rods specially at that price.

Re: Shimano Zodias 2020

this might be a bit light but this is the best lure flicking rod I have ever owned, it is light and smooth and it works great, good for trout and other fish like trout. I would recommend it. https://www.anacondastores.com/fishing/fishing-combos/spinning-combos/shimano-sienna-quickfire-66-2-4kg-2500-...

The lure or the angler? Yarra bream

So my wife said: "go to Docklands and buy me this and that, and groceries on the way home". What I heard in my head: "you can go fishing" :-D I've heard and seen the mussel lure and I thought I should try it. IMG_20230113_210900.jpg Fished yarra river 2:30pm-3:15pm, yep, 40-45 mins of fishing, broad...
