Re: New Landbased Spots for Spring
I actually recorded some vids and made a playlist a few years back showing exactly what I was doing. Since then I've fished almost all the ledges in this one. Just getting out to them is a reward in itself and i've literally never seen another person fish any of it. These were taken before I really ...

Re: Advice for all-round heavy rod
If you can get a Tcurve on sale the extra $ is worth it but the catana is a rock solid rod. Is this the T Curve or is that something else again? https://www.anacondastores.com/fishing/fishing-rods/spinning-rods/shimano-revolution-902-spinning-rod/BP90141451 That's the one. I have the one two models...

Rock life
Hi All, I had some pretty positive feedback and some pm's from a long post I made about rock fishing safety in another thread ( http://www.fishing-victoria.com/viewtopic.php?p=304136#p304136) so I thought I'd try and share some pics of some of the rock adventures i've had over the past 4 years of LB...

Re: Rock life
I remember I went to tongue point once, bloody hell it was hard... What's your best choice of rod and reel, DougieK? One rod one reel and a backpack? It depends on what you're trying to do. I usually take three. Light spin heavy spin and live bait. In this case a 'light' spin rod is a salmon surfst...

Re: Rock life
This is a crazy little spot the relentless CarlG and I decided to climp into. It's the gap in between the big and small knobs at Leonard Point, on Wilsons Prom. The walk in was 100m vertical straight down through the scrub, after bush bashing in shoulder high (for me, over carl's head) scrub for 30 ...

Re: Rock life

Re: Martial Arts, it can help you too
Good luck mate - quite an achievement! Any videos you are willing to share of your fights (if that's the right word sorry)? I have a youtube channel which is a mix of fishing adventures and fights. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is not an exciting sport unless you know what your'e looking for and i'm a relati...
