I thought bay piers were maintained by the council, or is that only in port phillip? Also, the newer concrete section is fine, are they only demolishing the ...

Re: Back in lockdown again.

Not being more than 5km from home would be a pain in the ass if I didn't move to Currarong a couple of months ago.

Enjoy your lockdown, peasants.

Re: Back in lockdown again.

This virus is the most divisive thing I can ever remember. People are so adamant that their views are gospel and anyone who disagrees are the devil. It’s amazing to see this unfold in Australia. I've kept out of most of this discussion this time around, but this is a really really good point. What ...

Re: Rock life

This place is so epic, it's sometimes hard to photograph well. The last few days there has not been any fishing, the storm passed but the swell is still pumping 3 metres until tomorrow, so I've had to opportunity to do some bush bashing and picked up some pretty interesting photos. Here is one I too...

Re: Rock life

While lockdown life is **** for everyone involved, I managed to move to Currarong on June 30 and pick up a full time Martial Arts job. Currarong is the last town on the Beecroft Penninsula, and walking distance to some of the most famous and impressive rock fishing spots (many already featured in th...

Re: Rock life

Some Images from 'The Tubes', arguably the most famous rock fishing platform in the world, which I've been hitting fairly frequently with a couple from the gym. This is one of the few places you can consistently catch Marlin from the shore and is an unbelievably comfortable place to fish. The struct...

Re: Back in lockdown again.

Michael West called it three months ago and everyone said he was lying. This is why actual genuinely independent journalism is so important.
