Re: Storing bait in fridge

I mainly freeze squid wings, heads, tentacles and other smaller mixed species for bait, working towards zero waste. Anything that's not bait becomes burley. Squid I find you can re-freeze a few times without a loss in quality, while fish will become mushy. Water in the cells expand when frozen brea...

Now that's a good exercise for the heart. The last ...

Re: UL Reel and line tangle problems!

Is this what you're talking about? That's the one. I'll try the wet line technique next time for sure. Watch this from Daiwa, very well explained and short. Thanks Seb, I started doing that but had trouble the other night - too dark to see the little lure land! I think I'll take the tip from everyo...

Frankston session

Had a pretty good session out from Frankston yesterday on the kayak, I got a total of 6 species over the day using a variety of methods. I headed out at 7am and could see birds and dolphins 6km away in Frankston, which is a long way to paddle. Took under an hour to get there, but it turned out that ...

"A guy at the desk told me" is not nearly as strong an argument as "here is the law and what it says."

Plus it wouldn't suprise me at all if they just outright lie to you, see marine park at blairgowrie.

Re: Covid-19 discussion

And how do you go about keeping up with the new fandangled changes to working things out? It's mightily embarrassing to have a teacher email back a year 8 maths test with a giant fail mark because the way you learnt to work it out in apparent ancient times and advised the kid to do is the complete ...
