Re: Flurocarbon vs Mono Leader
Personally I’d be running the 20lb mono over the 30lb fluro. Especially if casting distance is a factor.

A few reports
Howdy. Long time between drinks. Figured I may aswell throw up a couple of reports from the Xmas period. I fished every sesh with the young fella and it’s got me thinking he is nearly due for a species comp haha. With covid rules relaxing we have tried to squeeze in as many trips as possible and wil...

Re: Boat fuel
Disconnect fuel hose from the outboard. Poke the hose out the bung hole. Pump it out into Jerry cans. Stick 10-20l at a time into your petrol car each fillup if you have one and use it up that way.
I’d be refreshing the lot with stabiliser added to the first tank.

Re: roof racks
Those cage style ones are only good if strapping little things down.
Personally I’d go the twin rail. Less obtrusive. Less wind noise. Probably better economy and can still put long things on it.

Re: A few reports
Another report. Last weekend hit up bright. Fished the ovens for a couple hours for nought. This weekend Had a long planned weekend to lakes for the March new moon with a night run out. Got down to lakes 9pm Friday night. Unloaded and straight onto the water. Had a horror start. Launched north arm, ...

Re: RIP Snapper Snatcher
This really hit hard. I didn't personally know George but his achievements were always something I looked up to early on, particularly in the species comp. RIP and best wishes to friends and family I'm in the same boat. Met him fishing out and about half a dozen times. Sold and bought a bit of stuf...
