Both can last like 10 years (in storage). PLB sends the distress signal for about 24 hrs non stop, EPIRB lasts longer.

Just a quick report, after 4 donut trips on ppb finally cracked it on sunday evening First tried 8m off willy but 2 much weed and bait stealers Then went out near Faulkner beacon with not another boat in sight and got the berley going Between 7.30pm and 8 landed 2 reds around 3kg and missed another ...
