Re: Thoughts

Having not much experience with sounders how can you guys tell what arches are/judge how large fish are from them? I'm trying to learn as I'll be using one on my yak soon and want to get the most out of it. Arches = fish. The blob indicates a dense school of "something". More likely bait. The depth...

Re: Target One Million....is it working?

Spot on red hunter it’s a waste of money. For me it’s similar to you mate getting out enjoying nature and switching off except I get pissed off with doughnut sessions. Doughnut sessions should not get you angrier dude, they should get you hungrier!!!! In other words, it makes you concentrate harder...

Re: Williamstown Port Area

I think I'm the only guy on here that uses his gear....Its pretty good for the money & he shares a lot of info on his social media. :tu: I have been using his ultra rigs for a while and I cant speak highly enough of them, you can see the quality in them. As for the 187 hooks he gave me I'm looking ...

Re: Why use a leader????

More so for abrasion resistance... against the bottom, or against the fish's mouth. Mono is generally much softer and much less forgiving against these elements. Braid has very little.

Well done! Some good eating there. Fresh squid heads are my favourite big red baits. Great to hear things are coming together for you mate. FYI- Something to be mindful of in case you weren't aware...cleaning pinkies/snapper in the same spot you are fishing for them will put them off the bite. They'...

Re: Rocks vs surf

Or, are you better fishing in a lake/river system for them?
Jews love structure to rub you off on. They're just like kingies in that regard. Personally, I'd look at beaches or rock walls, or the lake systems if the weather is crap. You will have a better chance dusk till dawn too.

Re: Post counts. Do we need them?

So has this made any difference at all lol No So, how many times since post counts have been removed, have either of you read a post from a member having a crack at another member about posting rubbish posts in order to boost their post count? Think about it. It can no longer be used as negative am...
