Last day fishing before lockdown
Hey guys, as the title says this was my last trip before the stage three lockdown was implemented, was already out that way when the announcement was made and decided to put in a bit of an effort to get into gippsland and chase some more bream for the last time until things eased off. The roads were...

Re: Willow Trees
I believe most of the people complaining are talking about the removal of willow trees without replacing them with anything, resulting in little to no cover for that section of river.

This video covers my 1-3kg and 2-4kg spinning rods and talks about what I use each rod. Hope you enjoy watching it and that you find some of the information useful....

Re: Surf fishing
I can't help a whole bunch with spots, just had a quick scroll through on google earth and there's some decent looking areas. Just flick it over to satellite view and look for weed beds, rocks or deeper water within 30-50m from the bank and give those areas a try. If you can focus your efforts on su...

Re: How To Catch Carp On Soft Plastics
Hi, do you know where they put the information that said that you can fish within 5km of your home? I watched the press conference live hoping for an announcement similar to this in nature. I believe they usually release a document after the press conference with more detail. I think there is more ...

How To Catch Carp On Soft Plastics
Hey guys, Some of you might have seen the original version I put up a few days back. I actually refilmed that with better info and presentation. It's just been announced we can fish within 5kms of home in melbourne so it is a great time to get into targeting carp as they are available within 5kms of...

Re: Shimano or Miller Finesse Bream Rod
Theres nothing in the Shimano range thats comparable to the Miller's in quality. Zodias is the closest they come but I'd definitely go for a miller over them. As an allrounder I would have a look at an xflc, if you just want to roll the hards and predominantly fish sp the grubfreak is good, twitch f...

Re: PRO LURE D36 & S36 CRANK
The vast majority of the people I see using them are fishing in NSW slow rolling them for yellowfin but a few guys I know have used them with success on melbourne bream. A few things to note about the prolures is that they are a slightly smaller profile than a chubby and come fitted with decoy trebl...
