For Arron-Cheers Denis
Thanks Denis, that's one of the best home processing setups I've seen. I'll definitely be stealing some of your ideas.

Dennis do you wash your fillets in fresh water? Or take a bucket of salt water with you? Whenever I clean my fish at home it requires a bucket of salt water on the deck old baitboard and if in the the arvo on a saturday or sunday a 6 pack of stubbies.

I use Tank and Town fresh water-never Salt water as most of my Fush are given away to people in town and I carnt taste the difference from Fresh or Salt
Ive just given Wifie a Mothers Day pressy -A new Filleting Knife-She always helps me Fillet the Fush while I knock down Stubbies

The way to a womens heart is with a filletting knife (that doesn't sound too good).
Haven't had a beer early in the morning, since I did night shift
Well um maybe a few times
I think I'll move down your way, so I can get on your "give to" list

Great haul as always Denis.

What also impressed me is the fork n fillet method. Those mesh gloves with that fork would give great purchase on those slippery fish & fillets , , , , the biggest obstacle in trying to get Fillets off, great advice, thanks :a_goodjob:

And that is one awesome Filleting Station Setup. Those Laundry Troughs are the way to go.

DB great setup.jpg

I have a frame and a double laundry trough that I'm planning to make into a Fish Cleaning setup, but with wheels so it can be moved around. I've been stuck on putting an adjacent bench/table to it for a work area BUT you have given me the answer, love the bench that sits on the troughs, a great doubling up and space saver.

Now just to pull my finger out and get into it , , , , tomorrow , , , , or next week , , , , or , , , ,
