Always been skin on for me. Absolutely beautiful tasting fish. Never tried skin off. Might give that a try and see how it compares

Skin on for us and shaken in a freezer bag with Tandaco fish coat from supermarket, yummy

Both ways, skin on for grilling and off for frying -and that Tandaco fish seasoning is delish

Best way to enjoy the whitings is to have them whole in crumpets while watching The Avenger movies - especially if yours have been caught anchored in shouting distance from the next boat
