RB-YES-Thats why I use a 2 metre long leader for the hook.
As you go further down towards Queenscliff near green marker No3-One one side you have the West Sand and the shore on the other side-Even when there is not much tidal flow on the tide chart it rips along and you have to use a number 2 sinker, Good fishin then
Also if there is not much tidal flow and its a bit choppy fish very close to the back of your boat-The waves move your rod up and down and this will get the ting wanting to grab a moving bait

Pretty consistent down there Dennis. Been good up here for this area. Plenty of feed of KGWs this year.
There's nothing . . . absolutely nothing . . . half so much worth doing as simply messing around in boats.
