Purple5ive,

can you elaborate a bit on what you mean by "properly". Do you mean doing it quietly ?

Sure!!!

Just read and make sure you don't make the same mistake :-D

Cheers Purple5ive,

and sorry you had to deal with Mr crumpet.
Oh!! But wait it doesn't end there, here's the part 2 of it :rf:
Since the first got locked , another one had to be created to keep the shitfight going

This is what I was trying to say in your other post about the forums being quiet.
Im not the only one who was on the receiving end , many others were and had enough. Im no saint either btw but you can see why people stopped posting good reports and the likes. It's either **** like this or pics taken of fish are held too close to the camera thereby exasperating certain members (who contribute sfa), or Squid tentacles became testicles lmao..
There's some pearlers in there somewhere if you need some reading material and a laugh.

NYWAY now back to whiting fishing it is.
Im still yet to target them after that report so maybe it's about time I had another crack, this time however I've got a new trolling motor battery so hopefully it will hold better. The last one was on its way out and that's one of the possible reasons it wasn't holding in the current I think, it struggled on the snapper this season as well with it and a battery test confirmed the inevitable. Got 5 years out of it, so not too bad I think.

Haha I just read both threads. Seems everyone was being a little overly sensitive...

Just get a button purple. I love it when I use mine. Leccy has its place but spot locking to bait fish around others that are potentially yawing isn't ideal.

What's a button? Not familiar with that term man. Lithium batteries?
Everyone came and anchored around me. Must have been a local spot or something.
Spot lock will hold usually. But that day it def was struggling. Battery was on its way out, which I found out soon afterwards.
