Sand whiting have a long mouth profile, this doesn't. It's a yellow eye mullet.

Yep, it's a mullet.

I don't think we get the true Sand whiting down this far south, certainly not in any numbers

School whiting/Silver whiting are orange, not green.

Sorted many a commercial box of them
