Plenty of good fishing in the top end.

ended up fishing cat bay. water was pretty choppy and boat was all over the place. managed to get 7 whiting. biggest was 43 smallest was 38. had a big rod out as well which resulted in a ray and something that wouldnt of stopped running til it ran into tasmania. i had 30 pound mainline and a wire trace and still had no chance of slowing it down... got 3 massive flatty. 52 cm was good i thought then i got 1 at 55 and then woke up in the morning to find a 68 cm cracker on me yakka fillet. plenty of big leatherjacket also. happy to of got a feed but just wish conditions were better because the whiting were very timid so chamces are i missed more than i caught....
