Hi all forum members. Specialty fishing and i have thought up the idea of having a Biggest Australian salmon competition and Biggest murray cod competition. All forum members are welcome to participate in this competition. The rules are simple, Catch an Australian salmon or Murray cod from anywhere in Victoria Land based or boat based and take a picture of the fish clearly showing the fishes length with a measuring tape. There will also be a code word which must also be displayed in the picture to prove the fish was caught within the competition dates. There will be a first prize for both species of the biggest fish kindly provided by Specialty fishing.(Prizes will be released in coming days). The reason for running and a cod competition together with a salmon is simply because we don't want to leave you freshwater fishos who struggle to get to the sea out of the action. The competition will run from the 14th of June 00:00 - 14th of September. but the cod fishing aspect will finish on September 1st. Yes, you have a whole two months (mod edit, actually 3 months) to get out there and catch a winning fish. So what are you waiting for!?
