Central Pier re-construction

I used to fish there a lot, Central Pier. Was cut off and then closed fully in 2019.

This below is from Jan.

Looks like demolition and re-construction is going to happen instead of fixing it.

It's always a shame that sometimes it's easier to rebuild than repair, but seeing the state of the pier I wouldn't be surprised if that was the most reasonable option. Either way, hopefully it's another spot that may become more accessible.
