oh yeah good question.. i think its something like 3hrs or so..

its 3 hours and 40 mins drive

but pulling the boat, i think it will be about 4 hours and then if we stop add a bit longer

either a day trip (but it be a really long day) heading down really early so we get down there about 7am

or stay overnight and fish half of 2nd day (till about 1 or 2 pm) and then come back

I just mentioned this jokingly to my wife and she goes "why don't you go and I'll go to Albury to see my family for the weekend". Not the response I expected lol but I won't complain.

i might already have plans for this weekend but! if the weather does hold up i might be able to cancel my plans and we can go

No worries mate. If you've got room for a noob let me know, if not, all good. Depends what day/s you end up going too. I'm working Saturday which leaves Sunday and Monday free for me.
