Port Phillip Bay Sharks

Post by Mattblack » Wed Dec 13, 2017 2:07 pm

Hi All,
I was watching David Kramer on C31 last night and was wondering if there was any truth to his dire prediction of a shark attack being overdue in Port Phillip Bay? I understand that the Bay is a lot healthier now due to various reasons, but I'm really hoping he had one too many pre-show drinks & was just trying to spook skiers.
Has anyone noticed increased shark activity in the last couple of years or got any stories that will put me off getting in the bay this summer?

A shark attack is unlikely but still possible, I would avoid swimming isolated areas, first light and on dust, especially at night.

I don't recall the last time anybody was harassed by a shark in PPB ?
He who has the most fishing rods WINS ! :ts:

Plenty of sharks in bays although the chances of being attacked are remote.

I met a local this year in Docklands who claimed to have spotted a large bull shark swimming up the Yarra from his apartment balcony. I wouldn't want to be in the water with one of those around ...

Lol. A ch31 program.. he would say what he could to stay on what irrelevant air time he gets.
Not a big enough name for real tv and a small enough name enough for community tv.
Seriously. Where do sharks live? We are all naive if we think an increasing population wont stir sharks up. Its common sense.

This ch31 show is ****. Very amateur and badly produced
