Mono shelf Life and Storage

Have some Maxima Green that is over 5 years old

Store all my spools of line and loaded reels in Black Garbage in an old wardrobe in garage

How do you store yours??

UV kills mono so yours is probably ok.

Back in the day before braid if you pushed your gear you would replace mono every 12 months.

I have some mono that has been stored away for nearly 20 years.
im sure someone will say this is no good but it seems perfectly fine to me, doesn't seem to have lost any strength.
