Where / what will you fish after lockdown?
The anticipation is there. There will be a lot of people going out like no tomorrow. Whether be fishing, hiking, walking, eating, etc.
When the lockdown is lifted, where will you go, what fish, what type or fishing?
I'd love to fish the trout stream on fly before the season ends, otherwise I'll take the kayak out to trout lakes or winter bream in the estuaries.
Pretty sure the bay, jetties and piers will be packed with people.
Squid can be prolific but I bet thousands of people will look for them.

I’ll definitely be targeting the sambos like I usually do at this time of the year. Probably go for squid and see if any kgw are around as well

If they restrict us to fish locally, I'll be drifting for flatties & throwing lures at salmon at northern end of PPB

There are 3 things I'm already rigged for depending on what the weather does on monday.
A massive LBG session for tuna or if there happens to be any kings left about, ballooning livebaits off a ledge somewhere.
A Squidspike session floating silver whiting after big calamari.
A light and mobile salmon gunnamatta bash.
There is a tiny little chance we'll get a couple of weeks of LBG season left until it's balloons for tuna or spinning for salmon until the snapps show up.

Depends how far we are allowed to travel.
Big distance and its a gippsland trip for some more bream, other than that I've got quite a few plans on where to go just depends if I can go there.

Hopefully I’ll be surf fishing at Venus Bay in a a week or so. Going there on Monday for other reasons so I might squeeze in a sneaky little session if fishing is allowed then. Fingers crossed.

Not too cold for flathead?
I'm thinking to start targetting them on fly.
I know right!
Do you find the bream will be on the bottom water column by now Maz? Slow rolling small plastic and 1/16 jig head?

Re: Where / what will you fish after lockdown?
In my downtime, I wrote a program to overlay water depth on top of maps to find new rock ledges to try.
Depending on how far we're allowed to travel and the wind direction/strength I'm looking to slowly try out both the great ocean road side as well as Gipps.
