Lagoon pier/ kerferd road pier for squid?

Hiya, just wanted to know if you could find squid at kerferd road/lagoon pier. And if so whats the best time to head out?

pretty sure theyre very rare there, not much good ground for them and dirty water. You'd have a much better go at them down past mornington or if thats too far, around black rock/beaumaris area

Have caught squid off Kerfo before.

Don’t know about lagoon pier for squid, not impossible but you’d have much better luck heading down to Mornington, black rock, or if ya don’t wanna go that far I’ve seen quite a few pulled up off middle Brighton pier, casting towards the sea baths

Lagoon I haven’t had much luck at all. Only real tiny ones.
Like you said Brighton is much better. Have caught some beauties off the rocks 😃
