different jig actions

so the first diagram is just a normal jig head with a soft plastic curl tail and the action of it

and here's this other type of jig head i have found and its actions, does the jig head make it swing to the side when you retrieve it?

Yeah not sure about the pictures, maybe try compressing the photos online and them uploading them directly?

I wouldn't worry too much about the action of the jigs. The pointed ones are supposed to dart and the bullet heads go straight. I have always preferred the bullet heads because they go straight like a fish. The other ones are ok for bouncing off the bottom but yeah, not a big concern. The key to it will be how slow and patient you are with your retrieval. And if in doubt always go lighter to start with

i figured it out right click the images and open them in a new tab, then you can see them.

For the most part the exact jighead head shape you use doesn't really matter
