Fisheries bust

There's nothing . . . absolutely nothing . . . half so much worth doing as simply messing around in boats.

Dear God... Lets hope they'll get hefty fine and won't do it again. Maybe fisheries be keeping eyes on the area for a good period of time.
I remember years ago something similar happened in sanctuary lakes.

So many potential lure targets for the upcoming bream fisherman in the area, sigh!!!
They will now have to take up knitting or golf.. poor buggers!!!

Hope these flogs get jail time with a few surf rods up their holes everyday for 500 days...

I thought it was pinkies until I read the post.

Truly sad and I hope the Magistrate is a fisherman and gives them the maximum penalty possible. People like this are very unlikely to stop - they clearly sell the fish and have an established market. It would be good to have fisheries keep them under observation as much as possible and then, next time, not just grab them at the boat ramp but follow through, together with the Police, on the sale of fish side of things.

Not good at all but if there's one thing to be thankful of is that the majority were just bream not real fish.

secondly,
i know it said they were gong to sell them but seriously? how can you have the mindset to take 450 undersized fish? i cannot even comprehend the mindset you would need :dn: :dn:
i think the basterds punishments should be 25 years minimum prison time and to be slaped across the face 450 times by the fish they took :rf:

If they were going to sell them they should have a commercial license and quota which I don't think exists for where they were fishing so that's no excuse. That punishment would definitely deter offenders especially if you pimp slap them with a dirty bream.
