Not sure how to run a poll, just curious - all other factors being the same, would you:
1) Go at the start of incoming tide
2) Go at the start of outgoing tide
3) Doesn't mater - just go

Re: Preferred Tides - PPB
Whiting like to have a back ie Ship Wreck or Reef behind them
Ive found that the run out tide is better but in the early morning or late anoon to night
Wont go for whiting unless there is a good flow of water or choppy water to move the bait around

Re: Preferred Tides - PPB
Landbased, I fish incoming tide.
Kayak, both run in and run out, as long as there's movement.
Except for when targeting mulloway, slack tide high/low.

Re: Preferred Tides - PPB
Incoming tide for me. I like to catch the end of the run-out/slack tide and then fish through the high tide if possible.

Re: Preferred Tides - PPB
General arvo high tide around dusk is good, for whiting kgw at Wilson spit area.
Little chop can help.
But I have bagged out on stinky hot days ,with no wind and either side middle of day at werribee south.
No water flow at werribee generally.
