Is there a point going out PPB / Mentone on Sunday in close (yakking), after all this rain?

Probably no, but still better than doing nothing at home I'd say.

Yeah, would be a bit murky and seems to push the fish deeper.

Apparently fresh water is lighter than Saltwater so sits on top
I experienced that out from blackrock last Monday morning near the shipping channel where the surface was coffee coloured and was a strong current only on the surface
When I put the bait in with a small sinker next to the boat it went straight down which told me there was no current further down so was prob salt water
But in shallow water may be a different story
