Hey guys, just wondering is anyone else going out for a fish on Melbourne Cup public holiday? There seems to be a chance of thunderstorm and heavy rains, but I dont really mind heavy rains but is it safe going out during thunderstorm? Very itching to go for a fish
Cheers

If you're using graphite rods, the answer is no.Longshankhooks wrote: ↑Sat Oct 29, 2022 10:26 pmHey guys, just wondering is anyone else going out for a fish on Melbourne Cup public holiday? Waving carbon graphite rods during storm is like "hit me with lightning". I personally wouldn't do it for sure.

Don't do it bro, you'll end up crispy fried and so will your rods. As Seb said, go fibreglass
