Yesterday at Pt Richards Portarlington an elderly guy backs his boat and trailer down the ramp.
Pushes boat off hops in it and goes fishin
He forgot to drive his car off the ramp.
It stayed on the ramp for about 3 hours with the keys in it and the windows down till he came back

A few months ago Ive been fishing and tied my boat up on the small jetty near the St Leonards ramp
Im going to get my car when a guy-Whom i know-backs his car and trailer in front of my boat
I said to him whats going on and his reply was Im pulling my boat out .My reply was thanks for pulling my boat out
He was on the wrong side of the ramp-another elderly gent

I got out to the reef on day and Wondered where's the bait you guessed it I left it sitting on the kitchen table
So out came the jigs .

Had a Mate that grabbed the ice cream container full of ice cream instead of the bait container

Lake Purrembete many years ago. Watched a chap prepare to launch boat/tinny away from ramp, all good. Then proceeded to reverse down ramp and hit the car brakes hard, boat slides off trailer, lands in the water and proceeds to float out into the lake. Yep helped him retreive boat.

Mates 17'+ Haines Hunter. Motoring out Werribee river to the pick. By the time we reached the pick, passenger in back seat Says "How come my feet are getting wet?? Mate ( Driver ) and myself turned around and sure enough water of floor, quick inspection, yep, bungs missing. Lucky spares in tackle box. Get boat up on plane and I hang over back of boat to watch water drain. Water stops draining, installed Bungs tight, all good. Alway check Bunga in place!!!!!
