Bait boards

Post by Wolly Bugger » Sat Jun 13, 2015 6:18 pm

You have to cut up the pilchard or maybe the squid. What are going to use as a board to cut it on?

The top of your esky. Knife marks eventually cut through the plastic. Sand doesn't really do the edge of your sharp knife any good. Some piers are wood and that isn't too bad.

Cutting on concrete or steel is a sure way of making your knife blunt in no time.

(Will post a picture of the one that I reckon is the ducks' nuts for land base fisho's. It fits into your back pack.

I just washed them.

you need to explain the cutting process to GTSHoon. We went fishing together and he unceremoniously used my new knife to cut his bait right on the rock he was standing on. :bat:

He does this a lot from my experience as well, I think he must go through a knife a trip.

Notice that it was your knife, not his.
