were to fish in this wind

Post by aussie_fisho » Sat May 17, 2014 1:56 pm

hi all i am real eager to head out this weekend (BOAT BASED) for some decent sized gummy sharks, not exactly sure where to go and where it will be calm as i will most likely be staying over night, i thought in close along pt Leo or somewhere below french island near Corinella, any suggestions would be appreciated, am i better off going land-based and trying the back beaches? cheers AF!

You would wanna check what the swell is like if u go boat based pt leo.
According to willyweather wind is due to drop to 10knots NW direction around 4 ,this should open up ur options.
To many boats kayak, helicopter , catch a fish, catch a fish

8pm onwards anywhere from Somers to Leo should fish well.

The boat will sit nice too!!
