But if anyone bothers to do even a tiny bit of research they'll learn that bronzies are not really a dangerous shark unless provoked so unless you're doing something to really **** one off you're probably fine.

That's true, though I have read that although they keep well away from groups of swimmers, they will "sample" a lone swimmer.

Thanks mate, yeah that place ticks just about all the boxes. I've had a couple of goes at the channel there, too much floating weed getting wrapped around the line and bait. It's a pain in the as$, specially when your pulling in a ray and weed for 300mtr. I've found most of that side of Westernport is the same, weed being the only downside.
