That's exactly where we get them lol

But if anyone bothers to do even a tiny bit of research they'll learn that bronzies are not really a dangerous shark unless provoked so unless you're doing something to really **** one off you're probably fine.
That's true, though I have read that although they keep well away from groups of swimmers, they will "sample" a lone swimmer.

There was one caught off the pier at Clifton Springs last week. They love shallow warm water

I know Tenby point is a popular bronzie spot boat based. Potentially worth a look on the high tide if you can drone out baits.

Thanks mate, yeah that place ticks just about all the boxes. I've had a couple of goes at the channel there, too much floating weed getting wrapped around the line and bait. It's a pain in the as$, specially when your pulling in a ray and weed for 300mtr. I've found most of that side of Westernport is the same, weed being the only downside.

Punchbowl is as good a place as any and before anyone tells me its a dangerous place, I'd like to point out that you do not have to fish the rock ledge, which besides being dangerous is normally crowded with people, and that there is a comfortable beach about 200m wide right below the footpath to the left of the car park. It does have a large submerged reef about 50 meters to the right of the left-hand side, so I would stick to the middle.
