Brighton Breakwall 22-25 knots SW

Post by nhillboy » Wed Dec 05, 2012 10:41 pm

My mate George and i got to the breakwall at 5pm to meet a cold 25 knot SW. Only one other fisho on the whole pier/breakwall. Not a good sign, where was every one? Home, where we should have been. The wind did not ease one bit, we left at 9pm. We fished from the end rocks, water was dirty brown and our hooks covered in weed on every retrieve. Not one bite and in hindsight we should have left much earlier than we did. Nearly forgot, between us we landed 7 starfish (binned). Tomorrow i will send the wife to the Vic market to get some fresh fish 'cause i am coming up empty lately. Hope to land one next time.

Bad luck nhillboy, I was looking forward to a good report. The piers around the bay have been greedy lately they have been keeping all the fish to them selves. I'm hoping they will start to share again. Better luck next time

Good luck for Sunday walla, looking at about 15 knot SW. Sorry i let you down Raul i was hoping to post a ripper report. Miker, the weed was a big turn off and frustrating. I should have known better after the big 30+ knot blow during the morning and previous night.
