Thanks :-D , ill give it a try sometime next week. I was also thinking about trying goulchester reserve in williamstown for squid and leatherjacket, hopefully there are some there.....

I get the squid down near boat club is.
Not deep , high tide, float jigs ,/ silver whiting out...
West or nth west wind.

Been very quiet there of late. Also, terrible spot when the s/w winds are 20+ km/h so check the wind report before heading there

Anyone know if the hampton groynes have been fishing decent for garfish or squid recently? thinking of heading down on the weekend.

Yep but a pain in the butt to fish the rock,s for gar,s no different size from pier,s nearby and much more comfortable fishing from a pier.Tip small hook,s and burley they will come.As for squid they are now starting to appear
