Nice one mate! love it when salmon turn up to save the day, we lucky to have so many salmon schools in the bay. I hope to bump in to some soon as well I need fresh bait and burly!

Nice catch & well within your rights :thumbsup: ( several anglers fishing), i once posted a beach catch of 28 Salmon i caught with a friend awhile ago on another forum, i was hammered & told off from most member's, they were calling me a fish killer & not a responsible angler, i was even called the "Robin Hood" of fishing, because i said i given some Salmon to friends & family to eat, i did mention i ate many & kept some for bait, but that was not good enough in many other anglers opinion.

Anyway good catch :cheers:

They just jealous fishos, there's heaps of salmon in the bay and when they around I always aim for my 20. If there's 3 people on my boat we aim for 60 it's all with in the bag limit, but in me saying that you gotta hope they hang around long enough to get you bag so it doesn't always happen.

if your in your limit and you want to keep them thats fine fish dose'nt last very long in my family i eat it 3 to 4 times a week
