Hey Chris just wondering what bait and hook size you used?ChrisD wrote:My Daughter's driving lesson today took us down to the Patterson River for a couple of hours fishing today.
She nailed her first Bream before I even had lines in the water - and a ripped Bream it was. Bigger than anything I have managed of late.
She followed that up with a Star Fish and two Toad fish.
All I managed was one Toad fish ..... really would have rathered nothing at all than a toadie.......
Water was quite dirty - I tried a cranka crab for a while but zer action on that either.
Oh well as of Tuesday Spring starts and the fishing season starts - score board is cleared and we start afresh........well that's my argument anyway

Re: Patterson River this afternoon
common old earth worms and chicken - no idea what size the hooks were - just grabbed a couple of small circle hooks out of the tackle box and went with them.
