It had been awhile since I had been for a fish and so last night decided to wet a line.
Checked the weather conditions and knew the wind would be going down nicely and picked a local spot I used to do well with pinkies usually towards the end of the season around April.

It's quite a shaggy place but have pulled out many good size pinkies in the past in the 40-50 cm range.

Within a few minutes of the first bait in the water I had an enquiry straight away. Multiple bites but no hook up.
Re casted and while setting up my second rod, fish on. A 34 cm pinkie.

After that kept getting lots of bites which I suspect were smaller pinkies.
After about 15 minutes one of the rod gets a good hit and I reel in a nice 47 cm pinkie.

Then not long after another good hit and in comes another nice fish. 48 cm.

In total 3 fish. 48, 47 and 34.

It was a beautiful night but started getting a bit cold so called it a night and packed up.
Was good to just get out and get some fresh air and relax
