Yes, there are; they come and go - they favour Tuesdays and Fridays for some reason. They tend to visit certain spots but any old place is worth a crack. Good luck.

Not sure about they favour Tuesdays & Fridays (but still give Thursday a go), BUT they definitely don't come out on my day off lol :(

Frishbref is right , , , , in that , , , , any place is worth a crack. If you check out this thread by Sammy, he caught a stonka of a Snapper only a couple of weeks ago in the Yarra , , , , and some Bream.

Bright and early in the morning, would be my pick, or sunset
Chuck out a paternoster rig, the lightest sinker that is needed, with a piece of Pillie and a piece of squid. You are in with a chance and you may even get some Bream too

Hi Jason,
I have caught them at this time of the year in the past from there so it’s definitely worth a shot mate.
Hope you get onto a few!
Good luck.
Cheers

yes mate, this month and last month is probably the ideal times, remember though, don't have all your rods just out as far as possible as the bream fishing and trevally can be hot dropping a bait straight down along the wall/jetty you fish. That can be the difference on tough days.
Cheers, Matt.

I caught quite a few snappers last year and the year before around this time. Have tried many times last month. No luck yet. Thinking about going tomorrow morning to give it a go.
